Description
We’re excited by our new casual outdoor seating range which we call the CAROUSEL.
It’s modular; each module being 1/8 of a circle and they just fit together. Each section comes with one armrest which you can fit on the ends or in between sections as you wish. It’s a great concept for outdoor social occasions. Typically, one might buy a semi-circle or perhaps 3/4 or 7/8 of a circle; or start with a ¼ circle and add to it.
Seat pads and scatter cushions in 4 different colours are also offered if required. Being modular, different colours can be mixed in sections to great effect.
The Carousel side/centre table is also modular , coming in quarter circle sections which fit together.
The circular design is based on an 1800mm circle in the centre and , depending on the situation, customers may wish to buy any number of units. Each unit represents 45deg of a circle.
Like much of our furniture CAROUSEL Modular Casual Seating is made from solid Mango Wood which is permanently bent to a unique form. It’s a strong hardwood and should give many years of service.
The timber for our wooden garden products is treated with friendly fungicides and insecticides to preserve the wood in garden situations. Additionally the surfaces are coated with a good lacquer to show off the natural wood and protect it against weather.
All of our products are independently laboratory tested and certified to be free of potentially harmful products. Cushion seat pads are available and are made with fire resistant foam suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

- Sundeyz Products are finished furniture which do not look out of place inside a house. The wood is properly treated with certified non-harmful preservatives and has a lacquer coating that you would expect with indoor furniture. It is ready to use right out of the box. No need to buy oils and lacquers to apply yourself before use. Similar products from elsewhere are often raw wood which has been dipped in preservative with a green colour.
- In the UK there are laws about fire resistance of furniture which can be placed in an indoor setting or an outdoor setting. Sundeyz products comply with these laws whereas products we have seen from Germany and Poland do not because their laws are different. They are technically illegal. All of Sundeyz products have been subjected to stringent independent laboratory tests for fire resistance as well as for chemicals , strength and stability.
